Description
The tour lasts for 45 minutes. We recommend spending the first 5 minutes on the deck as we sail from the port to a small bay rich in fish. Once we arrive there, it’s best to enter the underwater cabin and enjoy the closest possible view of the seabed without diving. During our stay in the cove, which the locals call “Pasja uvala” (Dog’s Cove), the sailor will feed the fish, and the fish will come directly to you! The fish that mostly inhabit this area is called “ušata” (ear-like) that is black tail sea bream. They usually inhabit shallow to moderately deep waters near rocky shores. These fish feed on a variety of food, including small fish, crustaceans, shellfish, and plankton. In addition to their characteristic ears, which gave them their name, they have a flattened body and a black stripe before their tail. “Ušata” fish are very intelligent, and the whole flock escapes if one of them is caught. After feeding the fish, we continue the cruise to the underwater sculpture park. The semi-submarine slowly passes by around ten sculptures, including a rudder, treasure chest, and others. You will learn about the rest of the sculptures during the tour.
